Project Architect

Curt Maclver brings experience across residential, hospitality, institutional, and mixed-use projects, with a particular interest in thoughtful detailing and elevated craft.
His recent work focused primarily on single-family residential design in Chicago, where he contributed to both design and build-focused projects at a small architecture firm.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and French from the Villanova University before completing his Master of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Travel and hands-on making have had a lasting influence on his architectural perspective and appreciation for tailored spaces.
At Northworks, Curt is excited to further pursue detailed residential design in a collaborative studio environment. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, sketching, skiing, making furniture, and spending time with his wife Audrey, their son Owen, and their dog Mack.
