Dena Sciamanna is an Interiors Project Coordinator in Northworks’ Chicago studio, supporting the interiors team as projects take shape from concept to completion. Originally from Metro Detroit, Dena began her career in healthcare, working as a cardiac sonographer for ten years before making a deliberate transition into the creative industry in 2017.
Dena holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and brings a creative perspective informed by both her professional and artistic experiences. She maintains an art practice focused on ceramic objects and small-scale sculpture, an interest that continues to shape the way she approaches materials, objects, and the spaces around them.
Dena was introduced to Northworks through Anna, whom she first met when interning at an interiors firm. She was drawn to the opportunity to support the interiors team, see thoughtfully designed spaces come together, and continue exploring new possibilities within the creative field. Outside of the studio, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her pets.
