Project Architect

Kate Brown has a diverse background and passion for creating unique designs. Originally from New Zealand, Kate spent her formative years in the Netherlands and England before making her way to the United States to pursue her college education. Kate attended Virginia Tech, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in architecture.

Throughout her career, Kate has gained valuable experience in the field of high-end residential architecture and interior design. She has worked with firms in Chicago, including a design build firm, where she honed her skills in creating bespoke residential experiences for clients. Additionally, Kate explored her creativity as a designer at a fine art tech start-up, further expanding her repertoire of innovative design techniques.

As a NCARB certified, licensed architect, Kate has found a welcoming and inspiring environment in Northworks which she is enthusiastic about working closely with talented individuals who share her passion for architecture. She appreciates the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects throughout the country. Currently, Kate is excited about being a part of high-end residential and multi-family developments in collaboration with Northworks’ Jackson, WY studio.  Outside the studio, Kate enjoys running, planning her next ski trip and most recently, learning to golf and quilt.
