Keith Labutta, RA

Principal

Keith, a licensed architect in Illinois, boasts a portfolio encompassing diverse project types including Single and Multi-Family Residential, Educational, Hotels, Restaurants, Historic Preservation, Commercial Offices, and Libraries.

His work with Northworks has earned recognition in esteemed publications such as Architectural Digest, Interiors, Luxe Home, and the Chicago Tribune, among others. Keith received the Honor Award in 2014 from AIA Pittsburgh, in the Young Architect Competition. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Joining Northworks in 2008, Keith was drawn to the ethos of a small, dynamic practice committed to delivering exceptional quality. As the firm has evolved substantially, he remains dedicated to pushing every project to its fullest potential. Currently, Keith is spearheading the design and construction of multiple private residences across the Midwest, Canada, and the Mountain West.He is immersed in crafting a modern lakefront home in Southwest Michigan, a project that presents exciting challenges in material transitions and collaboration with top-tier contractors.

Outside of the studio, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife and son at their suburban home, actively renovating the house and restoring a native landscape. ​
