Mike Rivera is a Project Associate in the Chicago studio with experience across student housing, multifamily residential, and a range of commercial project types. He brings a strong technical foundation and is particularly interested in advancing Revit standards and workflows.
Originally born in Singapore and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Mike earned both his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining Northworks, he worked at Lamar Johnson Collaborative.
Mike is passionate about mentorship, having taught as a graduate teaching assistant and served as a mentor through the ACE Mentor Program. Outside the studio, he enjoys starting his days with reading and following developments in space exploration.
