Nolan Metzler, RA

Project Architect

Nolan grew up in a suburb outside of Toronto, Ontario. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and is a licensed architect in the state of Pennsylvania. During his time in Canada, he was a junior designer under Gren Weis, a residential and commercial architect in the Greater Toronto Area. In addition, Nolan worked as an architect at a Philadelphia-based architecture and engineering firm specialized in Healthcare and Academic projects.

Nolan was drawn to Northworks for its wide array of projects of various project types, sizes, and styles. He appreciates how the studios, although unique geographically, all contain exceptional designers and collaborators who are great people to work with. He is currently collaborating on a student housing project in Clemson, South Carolina, and a single-family residence in Miami, Florida.

Outside of the office, he enjoys playing hockey, spending time with family and friends, exploring the city with his dog and learning to play the guitar.
