Project Architect

Philip, a licensed architect in Illinois, is originally from Dallas, Texas, but has spent time both on the East Coast and in the Midwest, living and working in cities such as Washington, D.C., New York, and Chicago.
Philip earned his Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Furniture Design. Upon graduation he moved to New York where he worked for Schafer Buccellato Architects. There he focused on high-end new-build residential projects and home renovations, developing a keen eye for detail and materiality in the process. Before moving to Chicago, Philip furthered his academic journey at Columbia University, where he earned a Masters in Advanced Architectural Design.
The architectural design process is engaging for him, from beginning to end. He embraces the highly collaborative process of working to achieve the client’s vision. Currently, Philip is working on numerous residential projects in and around the Midwest, along with several larger-scale renovations of historic buildings in Chicago. Outside the studio, you can find him on the basketball court, painting, or volunteering for youth programs in the city.
