Robert Clark

Project Associate

Robert Clark is a Project Associate based in Northworks’ Chicago studio. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. Robert is currently completing his final experience hours toward architect licensure, having passed all required exams.

Robert’s professional background includes experience across multifamily and workplace projects, with growing exposure to single-family residential design. At Northworks, he is excited to deepen his involvement in residential architecture—particularly the opportunity to work closely with clients, translate personal aspirations into built form, and guide projects through a highly collaborative design process.

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Robert brings a hands-on, craft-driven sensibility to his work. Outside the studio, he enjoys playing and designing golf courses, metalworking through blacksmithing and welding, and is beginning to explore woodworking and furniture design. He values authenticity in both design and practice, and was drawn to Northworks for its culture of thoughtful dialogue, direct problem-solving, and creative rigor.
