Sophie is an Interiors Associate in the Chicago studio, contributing to projects across the Mountain West.
Originally from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, she earned a BFA in Interior Design and Sustainability from Miami University, where she also spent six weeks in Ghana designing and building a two-unit teacher’s cottage for a rural community.
Before Northworks, Sophie was the first employee at Kaage Homes in Winnetka, IL, focusing on historic preservation renovations, strategic design decisions, and developing the firm’s branding and graphic standards.
At Northworks, she supports the Mountain West’s unique environmental conditions, collaborating across architecture and interiors to create spaces that respond to landscape and climate. Outside work, Sophie enjoys yoga, hiking, lakefront walks, and a lifelong passion of riding horses.
