Sydney is a licensed architect based in Northworks’ Washington, D.C. office, where she focuses on high-end residential design. She studied architecture at Virginia Tech, where her interest in creating spaces that feel both lived-in and loved really took root. Since joining the firm in 2019, she has worked closely with owners to bring their dream homes to life—blending thoughtful design with a highly collaborative process.
She is drawn to the fast-paced, hands-on nature of residential architecture and values the opportunities to shape spaces that are both functional and deeply personal. Her approach to design is grounded in the idea that beauty is often found in the details—and that the best spaces feel like they’ve always belonged.
Outside of architecture, Sydney is a certified cycling instructor, loves a good hike or bike ride, and is happiest spending time with her husband, son and two cats.
