Founding Partner

Austin DePree is a founding partner of Northworks and provides strategic leadership across the firm’s luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and private club practices. He is committed to a disciplined and collaborative design process that emphasizes transparency, thoughtful problem-solving, and exceptional client service, resulting in architecture that is timeless, efficient, and enduring.

Austin’s current work spans luxury residential, private club, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across the United States and the Caribbean, where he partners with clients to create enduring places that reflect their unique context and aspirations. He is actively involved throughout each project’s lifecycle, helping clients navigate complex design, planning, and construction challenges while maintaining the highest standards of design excellence.

Austin is NCARB certified, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a licensed architect in multiple U.S. jurisdictions, leading projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Austin lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with his wife and two children. Outside the office, he enjoys skiing, fly fishing, boating, and exploring the outdoors with family and friends.
